Charlie has grown into the second team over the last couple of years, and will continue to improve this year under new skipper Aqib.

Charlie’s highlight moment came away at Glusburn last year, when he and Danny Mahmood chased off a target of 205 for the last wicket. Charlie crunched the winning 4 runs with a pull shot, and will no doubt provide more highlights in the years to come as his influence in the teams develops.

When playing for Denholme, he did also bowl out his own dad Joshua Ryan Clough, who attempted and failed to ‘old man’ him. The match fixing accusation remains unresolved, but Josh denies any wrongdoing

Mum Jen is a regular on the sidelines cheering the lads on, with younger cricketing prospects, William and Ted in tow!
